Coming home

It’s true, we play a lot of shows. 85 in fact this year, all across North America.

But this week, we’re home.

In our city, with our families, playing for our hometown.

And while we play a lot of shows, you might recognize our voices elsewhere. Here’s a glimpse into our lives – on and off the stage. It’s certainly not your typical day job, what we do.

Been on a plane lately? Then you might recognize Lis Soderberg, one of our vocalists on Air Canada flights.

Jeff Christmas, our drummer, is the conductor of choice for former Supertramp star Roger Hodgson.

This rock ‘n roller speaks for more than just music. Jean Meilleur, one of our vocalist, is the voice of Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

Donald Paulton, our keyboardist, is a member of the Canadian Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame band Lighthouse.

Kathryn Rose, one of our vocalists, toured the world (yep, way beyond London!) with Sarah McLachlan.

Have kids? Then you might recognize the work of Neil Donell, one of our vocalists, who sang Mighty Machines from the popular TV show .

David Blamires, one of our vocalists, is a three-time Grammy winner for his studio and touring work with the Pat Metheny Group.

Stephanie Martin, one of our vocalists, starred as “Eponine” in Les Miserables in London, Paris, Germany and Japan.

We don’t consider her a diva, but Rique Franks, one of vocalists, is the speaking voice of Showcase Television and Showcase Diva.

And finally, Peter Brennan, founder of Jeans ‘n Classics, arranger and guitarist, has supplied the band to the Canadian Tenors and Michael Bolton. He has written shows for Martin Fry, Roger Hodgson, Lawrence Gowan, Alan Frew, The Spoons, Lorraine Segato, Marc Jordan, Amy Sky, Kenny MacLean, Roch Voisine, and more.

Yep, this year we will travel a lot and lend our talent to other things.

But it’s always nice to come home to London. And to support Habitat for Humanity.
