The Famous No-Shows

To some, Woodstock was a bad idea.

Managers weren’t on board. Artists weren’t thrilled about hanging out with hippies. Bands had outrageous riders.  These were just some of the reasons that kept the biggest bands in 1969 from taking the stage at Woodstock.

So, who missed out?

The Moody Blues, The Byrds, Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin were just a few of the acts that took  a pass on Woodstock. If they had performed, they would have truly enhanced the Woodstock experience.

On May 14, join Jeans ‘n Classics for The Music of Woodstock – Absent and Present, where you can listen to the acts that didn’t show (bands like the Cream, Jeff Beck, and The Doors). So, pull out your love beads and travel back to 1969 with Jeans ‘n Classics and the Jeans ‘n Classics Rock Symphony! This concert benefits Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario.
