Westlake Dr - St. Thomas' First Build
Diane is a single mother living in St. Thomas, Ontario. She attended school to become a Personal Support Worker and has been employed with the same organization for three years. Mother to a four year old and working shift work can be a challenge, but Diane is still finding time to complete her 500 hours of sweat equity, volunteering for local charities.
Diane and her daughter are currently relying on family for housing and very much look forward to the day when they can live independently and start a new life in their Habitat for Humanity home. When asked what this opportunity means to them Diane simply said, “It means everything to us.”
