Music builds homes

You did something awesome. You bought a concert ticket.

Yes, it’s great because you get to wear your jeans, visit with friends, and listen to wonderful music while drinking beer and eating pizza. But actually, it’s great for another reason too.

When you buy a Jeans ‘n Classics concert ticket, you’re supporting Habitat for Humanity.

Cool, right?

Yes. But I bet you don’t know why.

What makes Habitat families unique is that they buy their home with a zero interest mortgage after giving 500 hours of sweat equity (volunteer work) to the community as their down payment.

The family also has to be able to pay back a mortgage, and when they make their payments, this revenue goes back into a fund to buy land for the next family.

Get it now?

Habitat for Humanity needs the community’s support, and events like Jeans ‘n Classics are essential to it’s success.

And just so you know, all administration and operation costs at Habitat are covered by their Retail Social Enterprise, the ReStore, which means that funds raised through events like Jeans ‘n Classics can go directly toward building homes for local low income families.

So way to go, you.
