Thank you for your interest in donating to the Habitat for Humanity ReStores! Our Heartland Ontario ReStores want to safely and slowly return to normal operations. We know that our loyal customers and donors are also wanting to return to their normal interactions with our ReStores. We are working hard to find the best solutions to ensure a safe and healthy donation experience. It will take some time but we will work together to make the best of the situation.
When you have a donation for our ReStores here is how to proceed.
Call your local ReStore. Tell the staff about your donation – they will help you understand the current criteria for donations and the items we are able to receive.
You will be asked:
i. Has the donor had any symptoms such as fever, cough and difficulty breathing, and have they travelled outside Canada within the previous 14 days, or been exposed to someone who has COVID-19?
ii. Has anyone who has been near your donations had any of the above symptoms or would answer yes to the previous question?
iii. Upon arrival, to sign the declaration form, indicating your answers to these questions. The form will be on a clipboard on a table in the drop-off / pick up zone.
A number will be assigned to your qualified donation. Bring the donation to the ReStore between the hours of 11:00 am and 4:00 pm., Tuesday to Saturday. Follow the posted directions.
We are now starting to book donation pickups again! To schedule a donation pickup please complete the form below. **We pickup in Oxford, Middlesex, Elgin & Perth Counties only! Once we receive your pickup request our scheduler will be in contact with you within we will respond within 48 hours, with consideration to volume of requests at any given time.
