Carter Work Project Build

Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario was excited to celebrating Canada’s 150th anniversary by joining a Pan-Canadian Habitat for Humanity movement. Along with nearly 50 other local Habitat organizations across the country, we embarked on the largest and most ambitious initiative in Habitat for Humanity’s history in Canada the Carter Work Project Build.

Together, we built 150 homes, alongside 150 Habitat families from coast to coast to coast to provide affordable home ownership opportunities. Across the country, thousands of volunteers, sponsors, and community partners will help make this possible.

Projects like this don’t happen on their own. It takes the incredible commitment of sponsors, donors, community partners, and volunteers alike to make Habitat’s work possible.  We thank you for helping us mark this important milestone in Canada’s history.  Every contribution has four times the impact thanks to the social return on your investment.

You made a difference in the life of a local family.  Thank you for helping us get this family in their new home before the holidays!
