Every donation helps a family build a safe and affordable home
At Habitat Heartland Ontario a significant portion of the support we receive is from Gift in Kind donors. These are community focused businesses and tradespeople who donate construction materials as well as skilled labour to our build projects. Every item donated to a build project is an item that we don’t have to purchase. We are fortunate to have many generous businesses and individuals in our community.
1st Choice Home Solutions has been a gift in kind partner with Habitat Heartland Ontario for many years. Their ongoing support shows just how committed they are to helping in our community. Recently, the office staff wanted to get in on the fun as well. So not only do they donate their time to install roofs on a build project every year, their office staff also comes out to participate on a Habitat Build Day. As neighbours to our Pacific Court location, you will always see representatives from 1st Choice at our World Habitat Day celebrations, along with every Groundbreaking and Key Ceremony in London.
