Meet the Loza Robitaille Family

The Loza Robitaille family, Juan Jose, Michelle and their daughter Juliette who is two years old, live in a townhouse with Michelle’s mother and sisters. The whole family shares one bedroom for the three of them, and soon with a bay due, there will be four of them.

Michelle works from home in the afternoons and Juan Jose has almost completed school with Boreal ESL (English Lessons). He attends school in the mornings so Michelle and Juan are able to share taking care of their daughter through the day. As a family, they love going to the park and watching movies, but most important for the family is just spending time together.

Juliette’s favourite activity is swimming. Because Juan Jose is new to Canada from Mexico, he is still learning about Canadian culture and the English language. Both Juan and Michelle lived in Mexico for many years before returning to London to live with Michelle’s family. The transition has not always been easy as they miss many of their friends and family, but they are very grateful for their experiences and to now be partnered with Habitat for Humanity for a new home!

This opportunity for the family means “lots of happiness”. They will get to see their babies grow in a happy, healthy home of their own. The family dreams of seeing their kids play outside in the backyard and garden. Michelle and Juan Jose will feel secure and safe having a house to call their own on Forbes Street.
